Unfortunately for me I was raised a skeptic. Even met James Randi when I was a kid and he was here for his 60 minutes hoax. So my reaction would probably be to burst out laughing
It's great prank, but it's a shame that film marketing department are given the money to piss away on this kind of advertising. Why don't they take the money and use it lower our inflated cinema ticket prices?
I thought the other patrons were more gob-smacked/intrigued than actually frightened.
(I'd have thought "frightened" was probably more the 'natural' response one would have expected)
which maybe goes to show how blase we are after a few decades of movie SFX.
When the guy skidded up the wall I'd like to think I would have been making an exit from the shop, although I acknowledge that in most situations where the threat is not personalised, we tend to wait to see what comes next.
