    Surely youve recovered by now.

Just go get some more beans!  :-)

Yep, I managed to "taste" about 8 coffees before it ran out (4 as double ristrettos and four as flat white). All I can say is WOW! I couldnt believe how long the flavour lasted!

I have half a Kg of SO Dominican Republic left to get through but can safey say the, Yirgs will again be gracing my hopper by the end of the week

    Cheers,

    Sam

Muahahaha - hiding beans and substituting the Yirg for supermarket variety.

You guys are sick, twisted individuals... keep up the good work!

    Cheers,

    Sam.

started a topic All Yirgd up and nowhere to go....*Sigh*

All Yirgd up and nowhere to go....*Sigh*

I recently took delivery of my first ever kilo of freshly roasted 5 Senses S.O. Ethiopian Yirgacheffe but unfortunately, it has also coincided with me getting a head-cold

Id been sooo looking forward to this trying this coffee (and all of the spicy flavours and aromas this coffee has to offer), but alas, nothing. Not a reflection of the coffee at all but rather, a sign that my own senses (taste and smell) have completely shut down... I could be drinking Bonox right now and I wouldnt be able to tell the difference

Whats worse is that my Mrs is churning through the beans like theres no tomorrow and constantly exclaiming about how nice it is!!

As the primary coffee maker of the household, Im tempted to over-extract the next couple of coffees just to curb her enthusiasm a little (insert evil laugh here [smiley=evil.gif]) ;D ;D

Oh well, back to bed I go....

    Sam.

Working...
