      It was crazy bright at 10-11pm last night and threw great shadows in the paddock, nearly hard to stare at it was so bright but I didn't really notice the size difference.

        Earthquakes in NZ and subsequent tidal wave has been blamed on the super moon.
        There were some awesome blue flashes as energy was released from the ground around Wellington.

          Agree Andy, it did look mega bright. Felt almost like daylight outside.

              Often like that in altona, Vic. Especially when a bit cloudy as the refinery flares reflect back from the clouds. It can be like an overcast day at midnight and it happens often.
