  • Did I do something wrong?

    Hey peeps!

I'm quite new to CoffeeSnobs forum so not sure if I broke a rule, or if I just forgot to post correctly. The other day I tried to load a coffee-related survey (managed by survey monkey) onto a new thread, in the hopes that some of the members would respond. I also listed my twitter account on the same thread. I am pretty sure I got a message saying that my post was going to a moderator but I never heard anything further. I can't find the post now.\

Does this mean it's still under consideration, or am I not allowed to post some things? Best to know these things to avoid making further mistakes.\

For info, the survey was just a 10 question survey to ask people about their coffee preferences as research for a new mobile coffee trailer I am setting up.\

    Thanks, Elena

You might have run into a few problems with the rules re linking to sites associated with a commercial venture.

    The 'rules' are here:

Cool, thanks guys! I'll have a read up on the rules so I know how to be a good girl. Weirdly, I tried to use the CoffeeSnob app to check for responses this week. I kept getting a blank page, so maybe I also need some forum training!

Anyhoo, I'm enough of a coffee addict to become expert at this site eventually :-)

Okay, that was a quick read! It looks like my link to surveymonkey wasn't the problem (because I was just linking to a survey). I can't remember exactly what I wrote, but all I can think of is that maybe I mentioned the name of my business in the post? Also, I don't think I was a member 2 weeks already when I posted the survey, which might have been an issue too.

I am only trying to find out what people like, so I might post individual questions here instead. It will be nice to get more dialogue happening anyway...
