      This guy's reputation just grows and grows.
      A mate flew down (with his brother) for the Melbourne gig.
      Said he was very impressed and that Springsteen and his Band were on stage for around 3 hours.
      Wasn't a big fan before but is now.

        Yep, and that 3 hours is non stop.
        My wife commented at one point that she was feeling sorry for the drummer as the band (and the Boss) hadn't stopped for a break; the Boss was counting in the next song before the last notes of the existing song were finishing.
        I always liked his songs but wasn't necessarily a big fan in my younger days, but as my musical tastes matured, i.e. I got older I began to appreciate his song writing/storey telling abilities more and more, and like Rocky says, he just continued to grow on me.
        This was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. The heat, lightning, rain and hail just added to the experience
