I think it must be because I'm using Microsoft Edge all the time as I've noticed one or two things misalign on this site (particularly when logging on) and one or two other websites. I've got Firefox but I've felt put off by using that because of what seem like security issues. I've got Windows 10 on my laptop but I use Safari on my iPad and iPhone. If I had an Apple laptop I'd probably be using Safari all the time.

I am looking at getting a new laptop later this year, but I have to figure out my budget first. My first preference is for an Apple laptop.

    Hi

What security issues? Historically all browsers have had security bugs that get fixed. Firefox/Mozilla has historically had far less than IE and they were overall less serious also. Edge is fairly new compared to IE but certainly isn't more secure that the latest Firefox.

I agree with Mike, the latest Firefox series, (Quantum, been out about six months) is as secure as any common browser and has easy to adjust privacy features which are respected. Updated regularly every 6 weeks, priced well, what's not to like?

PS If you already have FF, don't forget to update it if you start using it.

For what it's worth I use Chrome. Have done for years, basically since it came out. Before then I used firefox.

My windows 10 encourages the use of Edge but I'm not used to that so I default to Chrome.

        Cheers.
