  • Tomic, would not be missed.

Tomic, Kyrgios, spoiled brats, neither would be missed if they dropped out of sight forthwith.

As for playing for Australia, neither one has the interest of Oz at heart, as Tomic recently stated when not playing tennis he sits at home counting his millions, perhaps that's where he should stay, until his millions run out.

Hewitt may have been irritating however he certainly was an achiever of the caliber neither of these characters will ever be.

The flip side of the coin see's Ashleigh Barty and Alex de Minaur, both great ambassadors for Australian tennis.

"unloaded on Hewitt after his 6-2, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) defeat by world No.7 Marin Cilic in the Australian Open first round on Monday night, alleging deep divisions in the Australian men’s game and claiming Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis would join him in not playing for the country again under the former world No.1."

    Who?

I can’t believe that Tennis Australia has put up with those clowns for so long. Surely there are standards that they have to adhere to to play for our country? Any other sport they would have been thrown out long ago.

It was Tomic, not Kyrgios, who made the comment about counting his money, and that was a year ago, after AO qualifying.

There will be plenty of young, up and coming, talented tennis players who will easily replace Tomic and Kyrgios. (And probably be grateful for the opportunity to do so)

Get rid of T and K and bring in some new blood.

I wonder if Paige Spirinac can play tennis?

            Yeah saw that.. unreal...

Not sure if he's telling the truth about Hewitt/Tennis Aus or if he's just frustrated... who knows.

Very interesting times ahead... see if it gets addressed or swept under the carpet...

Yeah, he's proved that time and time again...
Can't be bothered listening to him or watching him play for that matter.

I’m prepared to overlook that small detail.

Back on the subject sorry, Pat Rafter was a great ambassador for tennis on and off court.

I think the level of prize money now has a lot to do with the current super brats. Certainly, the great players of the past earned much less in their day, but conducted themselves admirably on court.

Probably Pat Rafter did well from endorsements after tennis, but he earned that privilege.

Well you could juxtaposition the non efforts of these two with that of...
another Aussie doing himself, his family, friends and his Aussie fans great pride ..
Toby Price, an Australian with grit, determination and a 'I'll just give it everything, I've got. All the time'.

he does for charity and in particular disadvantaged children.

Prima donna's are certainly nothing new in the tennis world, John McEnroe had it in spades (super brat)

"What is not in dispute is that no player attracted so much universal attention or provoked such contrasting emotions, from admiration to hatred, as John McEnroe.
King of the court in the 1980s, he won seven Grand Slams and took the sport to new heights with his dexterity and swashbuckling style.
Today, McEnroe, much mellowed at 58, is busy as a sports commentator and tennis coach in the US but nearly 40 years ago he was the scourge of officials on the courts and picked up the nickname ‘Super Brat’."

A loser will always blame something or someone else for their failures.
Tomic proves this over and over again!
