Maybe the Sustainability Pirate can give them the present of guilt for the damage their parents have done to the Environment by first having Children (more consumers for the world) and shock, horror, then also using disposable nappies while raising them?

BTW The Smith Family and other charities do a great job of looking after many kids whose families can't afford to partake in the Christmas tradition of gift giving. Retailers have hijacked the spirit of Christmas by pushing the idea of extravagant gifts but many families stick with modest gifts as a way to acknowledge and remember people in their lives.

And enjoyed by millions worldwide. People always have the choice of not sharing in the enjoyment rather than spoiling it for the majority who share in the pleasure and have done so for a very long time.
