large green section above yes, well i would think that it is an issue or design with this website, it is however not a problem, and if it is you need a serious hobby
Didnt say that the large green screen is a problem, but more of a annoyance.Cant say how often i have forgotten about it and hit logon then sat staring at a green screen waiting for my login prompt to appear.
Ive found with the login that if I go to http://coffeesnobs.com.au/ then it claims to have forgotten me, but if I go straight to http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl? then the auto-login works fine.
As for the Firefox issue, I get the same problem, but Im going to go out on a limb & suggest its not an issue with Firefox & Safari, but with the sites HTML :P

As for the blank space, do other Firefox users not get this?
EG: I think it happens when I go to messages (or perhaps when I hit reply).
Nope, this never happens....
Mal.
Login no issue ..ever, large green section above yes, well i would think that it is an issue or design with this website, it is however not a problem, and if it is you need a serious hobby.........coffee anyone? ;D ;D ;D
Correct i am using firefox at home and at work. I seem to remember trying with IE with no succes but my memory aint what it used to be so that might be a different website.
Interesting new occurance. Now o scroll down to login and firefox has already inserted name and password for me - i hit the login button and i get an error saying i need to fill in a username, if i ignore that and click the coffee snobs icon on the top left i am into forums and all logged in.

I dont have the login issue with my Windows XP machine, just with my Windows Me machine. And since I am rarely surfing on the slow machine, I have not really bothered too much with it.

Also happens on initial login screen.
EG: Welcome guest - Please Login or register - click Login and that is when I see a fair amount of blank. Scroll down and you see the log in area and it all works fine, just looks a bit odd.
Brett.
Agreed Brett- It seems to be a firefox/safari issue to me. My mac plays up, but its straight through with IE...Not the end of the world though

Thats a strange one :-?..... I use Firefox 2.xx and dont experience any of these issues so I can only guess that it must be a cookie/java issue as fb suggests,
With Firefox, I also have the issue with the massive blank screen. No answer for that.
The large amount of blank also happens when I go to the messages section.
As for the auto login, I have found that on one PC at home (old Windows Me system), the first page I come to shows me as not logged in.
I then would login and say for keeps.
Next time I come to the site, it again shows me as not logged in, but when I select a link to another part of the site, it does show me as logged in, so I think it is possibly a cookie issue.
I dont know if this is by design or not, but does anyone else also find that this website remembers them but does not auto log them in. Also when i press the login button the login page is structured so that i must scroll down pretty far through a massive blank green screen before i get to the point where i type my username and password.
While this is not a issue, it is somewhat irritating and i thought i might raise it (I must admit i have been meaing to makee this comment for over 2 months now)
