Yeah, its great stuff - once you taste the good stuff, youre hooked! I regularly have a tub in the fridge (lasts forever) in case the Berocca doesnt do the job morning after a night on the turps.
Oh, and then theres how its traditionally eaten in various combo dishes (kim-chee, not the berocca!)
During my stint there, it seemed all foods consumed had some medicinal purpose.
Coffee though ... absolutely woeful. Basically warm water, hint of stale robusta, flavoured with (all the bloody time) hazelnut syrup! This was pre-Starnuts entering Asia, so Ive NO idea where that concept of coffee came from??? (a decade ago). I stuck to the great array of traditional tea-houses - now THEY were sensational.
