  • Nation of Cry Babies

Its enough to make you weep!!

It seems that Australians will now cry at the drop of a hat. Ive been watching Australias Biggest Loser, and adults cry over the most trivial thing.

Accidently walked into the living room where Mrs Robusto is watching So You Think You Can Dance, and EVERY contestant cries. Boo Hoo.

Where is the internal fortitude gone? If they cry as a most pathetic emotional response to the most pathetic situation..... How would they react to a REAL tragedy in their lives...

I totally agree robusto, cry when it matters most not just for the sake of it and attention.
My son has kids in his class who cry when they get told no by the teacher and he is in grade 5.

If that was the case when i was in primary school then the bigger stronger kids would have had a field day with me.

Try peeling and cutting up a few kilos of onions. Its one of the most emotional things you can do.

Yeah I had a tear in my right eye yesterday, after I scraped the skin off my knuckle for the second time in two days, getting the basket outta the portafilter. But Im brave and sucked it in. I did say sh!t though. *Note to self: "Yo silverback knuckles!,..find a better way to get basket out"*

whaahahaaha,.. my husband is like that,.. he has made every last one of our friends and relatives kids cry. They love him, cos he plays games with them and tosses them about etc,.. but I hold my breath in anticipation of one of them squeeling within ten minutes,.. usually from fright as he flings them into the surf when they arent expecting it, or scaring them.  I wonder who the kid is sometimes,... but the real kids keep coming back for more as soon as they have dried their little eyes.

I dropped my MP3 player (without knowing) on verge, I drove to shops and on arriving home found a wafer thin MP3 sadly laying there. I held back the waterworks and let out a few expletives instead!!!
