Lol...so what? Im 22...still at uni...kind of...stopped to work in coffee for a bit! Im Mech Eng/Arts (Japanese language)

Ill probably get myself a 2nd hand linea for like $4000....Im dreading going back to school.

I think the EM6910 is a fine machine....does a great job for little money....extremely temperature stable....you cant ask for much more than that!

You dont need a big outlay for quality, al...

    1) welcome ...

    2) quality grinder ...

    3) freshly roasted beans left to fart out CO2 for 7-14 days ...

    4) plunger (or maybe a cost effective Aero-press - ask for Dennis: http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1203772677)

    5) detox ... 21 & still at Uni?

    Basic burr grinder ... $150

Im 15 but it would be great to see more teens on CS, mainly current CS kids because they have obsessive parents.

Did you end up with any good presents? The other thing I am good at is getting my present early. One year it was six months early. By the time it was my birthday I was ready for another present.

And you call yourself blonde!? ;D Good one Kaz... Couldnt have come up with a better plan myself!

I will say that I am 44 while I still can, not that I dont like birthday presents and that I dont count the days till I get one. One year at work I wrote on everyones white board that it was my birthday on the 6th May and even the cleaner got me a present. I even talked the boss into giving everyone in the office a BBQ for my lunch as it only happened once a year.

    Kaz
    Ive done similar.
Went around and marked my birthday on everyones desk calendars.
    On two pages.
One week before as a reminder.
    And the day itself.

I am 21 with 33 years experience ;D :. Now I am at a stage in life where the kids have left home and I get the time (and money) to enjoy the finer things in life such as Coffee, food, coffee, time to myself and did I mention coffee (or have I got a memory problem). Anyway they say coffee is an antioxidant and by drinking it - will extend my enjoyment for a few more years.
