does anyone know about business and the laws to start one in japan?

I went there over christmas and we really have something on Japanese coffee here in Aus...paul basset was making a seriously smart move when he opened up his espresso bars over there...

But does anyone know how to start from scratch in their market...? I have had a bit of a read and seem mostly to have found pieces of information on the topic...like you only need to fill a form out and send that to the tax office to start sole trading...but when it comes to incorperating I dont know what to do...

A reference to australian business might help first...
    Whats the deal over here?

    Gday wfw ...

Contact Austrade - they have several offices in different Japanese locations to assist Oz businesses do business with/in Japan. They should be able to advise you in detail of the processes & protocols involved.

    Good luck!

I do marketing communications and if you want to find out more, PM me - I dont want to abuse the forum.

Austrade is the go. Ive done lots of work with them and they have fantastic resources - both here and on the ground there. Start by looking up what theyve got on Japan on the site.
        Good luck.
