    Hi

Nothing to do with your CPU speed. Dont overclock it - you will get more problems. The problem is the "buffer length" that your Windows installation has set. It might say be 4096 bytes long or less. Just think of it as a bucket with a fixed size. The driver your installing is trying to write a line that is longer than this and it cant fit in the bucket. Basically get an updated driver from the web site of the company.

Here are two links but Im not too sure how useful they will be. Its close to but not exactly the same problem.

Thanks KK. I cant find where it says what version it is. The USB stick is branded Gadget Geek. The CD is Blaze TV. The minimum requirements are as I stated above, plus it also lists Centrino 1.3gHz or higher.
So Im still puzzled, as my CPU is >1.3gHz but not quite an AMD Athlon 2.0gHz.

Ive tried to find Blaze on the net, but cant.

Edit: Thanks GS. Whats their URL?

    ajayro,
Id contact Blaze Video support to get them to help. The error message didnt appear on their website anywhere and a quick google only turned up one response which was a faulty device.... just call/email their support folk.
I dont think the speed of your processor would cause this kind of error.

    I have blaze TV
    Is your version 2.1

    As my requirements are
    Pent 3 or higher
    1.4 GB or above
    USB 2.0
Might be an earlier version to yours

I have the CD that has the USB Driver and user manual

It may be best go to the web site and download the earlier 2.1 version and see if that works

    Attention computer geeks- Help!!

I hope there is a fellow CS who could help me with a computer problem. Im not terribly au fait with computer ins and outs but Im trying to install a Blaze HDTV driver and I get the error message Line length is larger than line buffer length. The system requirements in the User Guide state the CPU should be minimum Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 2.0 gHz or higher. Mine is AMD Athlon 1.91 gHz (which I realise is < 2.0gHz).
Is this the reason for the error message? If so, if I overclock the CPU so that its over 2.0gHz, will that solve the problem?

    Thanks.
Working...
