I spoke to Lyrebird some time ago about one I had which needed element repair as well. He seemed willing to have a go, maybe send him a message to check.
I never ended up doing anything with it as it wasn't mine, coincidentally I've acquired one myself now which also has a broken element connection at one end. For apparently being so robust and reliable, I'm on a bad track record of them. 100% so far with element problems. It's on a shelf awaiting further investigation one day.

Sunbeam toastermatic repair
Was gifted one of these for my 40th, figured it would be right up the alley of a lot of snobs. https://youtu.be/1OfxlSG6q5Y
Unfortunately one of the end elements in the one I received is "toast". If anybody knows an enthusiast repairer in Melbourne, I'd love to get this great piece of Australian design history operable.
I'm guessing an element would need to be fabricated since these have been out of production for 30 odd years now.
