Perhaps a bit OT (within the OT area :-) ), but what ROM have the JasJam crew used when upgrading to WM6?

Ive just got my hands on a JasJam and Im looking at the upgrade soon, but the Black website seems to just have a new release coming soon message and the xda-developers forum has a plethora of ROMs to choose from.

    Brett.
Black Satin is the one I use and works great
Black has stopped developing due to illness in his family
It can be downloaded from the black site
But you also have to get the correct SPL
I have both Black & Satin saved on my comp I can Email it to you fatboy?

    My Motorola makes phone calls!
My friend and I were coming home on the train one night from a few drinks out I was telling him about what my new phone could do, (This was a few phones back) We got ourselves rolling around with laughter as he started to give me the run down of his phone. "My phone has got NUMBERS!!!!, and I can CALL PEOPLE!!!!!! ;D ;D

Its a bit of a you have to be there moment but I think that we get caught up with so much of the other gadgets of the new phones that we forget that it is a phone to ring people on.

I think they mean you can use two fingers at the same time, to say zoom in on a picture, like dragging your thumb and index finger together.

When you can upgrade a Windows Mobile phone with multi-touch, then Ill be impressed
What do you mean by Multi Touch.  Mine is a touch screen that I can use with Stylus or Finger.  Does this mean something else?  :-?

I have turned my iMate JasJam into an iPhone.  I upgraded from Mobile 5 to the Mobile 6 and also uploaded a program called iFonz.  It is a copy of the iPhone software for MS users.  I have also downloaded I-Slide to lock and unlock the phone just like an iPhone and Contacts are the same as iPhone by using your stylis or finger to flick scroll through your contacts.

Go to youtube and type in iFonz to check it out.  Kinda cool with out the expense of an iPhone.
I am going to give this a go for my Jasjam WM6
I hope it works with Black WM6
    Thanks for the info

I currently use a N73 nokia (3G on 3) and its a great phone (no auto-lock TG). The camera on it is pretty useful as it takes great quality pictures but I dont really want to try and web browse or email from it. I looked at the external Nokia keyboard when I bought the phone (which would fix the email) but it is still a crummy screen for web and without WiFi it is also expensive to use. The N95 has WiFi and is better but still has failings.
If you liked your N73 are looking to upgrade look at the N82 - it is basically the N95 packaged into the N73 size and has better standby than the N95 - a natural upgrade for n73 lovers

Nice toy for the iPhone Greg... confusing for your visitors when you change tunes on a phone though.  Can you get it to remote control the telly too?
    8-)
Ive already got lots of remotes that run the TV--Im trying to get one to run Rocky and the VBM!

I think I need a full sized laptop that folds into a phone sized device and runs on battery for a week.
One of the closest things, not quite, but .... Asus eeePC 1000H

    Cheers
Interesting that you posted that Phil, I have just returned from Dads place and he bought a eeePC for himself yesterday. He has never wanted a laptop (too big) so just went without until he found this last week. ...and running *nix sold his anti-"windoze" requirements.

I just added the "Remote" application to my Iphone and it will run Itunes as a remote controller, over the home Wi-Fi network (my computer is connected to the stereo as one music source).
So no more running back into the computer room and burning dinner (or worse--the coffee beans) just to change the music!

    Re: iPhone!

Much as the convergence idea is great I still much prefer to use my laptop (asus 12") than try and type on the silly keys on my phone (Nokia N65) but between bluetooth and WLAN on the phone it does most of what I want or might want if the laptop is not around.

Still the iPhone is a cool toy When they come up with a device that doesnt need a keyboard at that size then it becomes a true must have. Until then read past the hype and discover that it still just makes phone calls
