Google has introduced street view to Australia now. I have already found old haunts in Melbourne, Cairns and Canberra with it. Walked down old streets that I used to get to work by, there goes half my day, truly amazing!
Its got a new panaraomic view for every few meters of the street and you can walk down the street as well.

Once there click on any streets that are blue and it will bring up a picture, once you see the picture click the image, holding down your button and you can scroll 360* as well as looking up and down.
Gives new meaning to giving directions.... one coffeesnob to another, ok.. start on Williams street, walk down it till you pass the ANZ, ignore that little takeaway with Vittoria coffee, now take a right down playne street till you reach that cafe with chairs at front... thats where Ill meet you.
