Well I didnt take a before and after shot of my front garden, but Ive got the before shot now for all the world to see. Ugly ugly stuff
(Taken on a wednesday afternoon in December 2008 in my town, going by the sun, the Christmas decorations, the empty bins out the front and the weeds in the front yard. And I was home at the time.)
Well...at least when they photographed our area, it was green! A great way to go and remind myself what green looks like really. The place actually looks lovely! ;D

Well, given the 6 month lag between the photos being taken and being put on the web site, I dont think any of the scenarios (even number 1) should come as a surprise.
Some reports from unhappy people were coming in
With regards to unflattering shots of people taking out the rubbish also people in pyjamas and in dressing gowns
Here is a “what if”
Person on holiday on the other side of the world
Checks to see the cool shots of home on Google
And Sees
1) Best friend coming out of front door? why?
2) Thief coming out with CD player under arm
3) Front yard trashed & kids passed out after massive party
4) Aeroplane crashed into roof
Most of the Southern Highlands, NSW has been done as well. My place was done, at a guess, over 12 months ago - one of the trees in the front has grown a lot since the photo was taken, but the neighbours place shows that it cant be more than two years old.
