    Just returned from trekking in the Everest region. Its day number 15...couldnt swallow another cup of mint or ginger tea, or dirty dishwater and then....

    Is that a coffee sack on the back of that yak???
    Would have been a sight for sore eyes!!!!

            Im pretty sure it was just regular milk. Yak milk is very high in fat and I think they mainly stick to making things like cheese with it. The cheese is nice. Didnt actually watch them make the coffee but it was better than what I had previously. The unabstructed view of Amadablam didnt hurt either.  8-)

            This fellow is a proper Yak. A Yak crossed with a cow is called a Dzo or Dzomo. There are lots of them around, especially down lower, but they dont have the long coat.
