    I need the thermostat and in line temp fuse. the 2 white wires pulled out and allowed the unit to over heat. the board is still good.

    I have a couple of OT fuses off some old Sunbeams... But do not have a EM5800 so am unable to identify or provide the missing item ??

      Hi,

      If this is the usual sort of over temp fuse that you see in heaters, hair dryers, etc, etc, then they are readily available from Jaycar, Tandy, Dick Smith, etc (well, at least one of these will have them), else you can always buy mail order from Farnell. Usually the fusing temperature is written right on it e.g. 117 oC, along with a voltage rating. They dont come in every possible temp, but you should get one quite close.

        The temp on the SB units that I have seen are 187C, 216C and 227C
