My dads into coffee quite a bit but has never owned a decent coffee machine so Im thinking he probably wont notice the difference..
    lol Hi Graham

if hes into coffee i suggest you give him a gift voucher to a local coffee machine supplier and let him add a few $100 pounds and get a better one........

a $10 pound coffee grinder would be not worth buying IMO

    good luck

Hey, nope its Liam, well Im tempted to get the Gaggia classic as this comes out at £250 and I have seen grinders in the range of £10-£200. If you could advise on some decent makes to look at which are reasonably low budget for grinders? Also what kind of price range am I looking at for a roaster and are they essential? My dads into coffee quite a bit but has never owned a decent coffee machine so Im thinking he probably wont notice the difference..

I doubt youll get a roaster into that budget.
You may struggle to fit in a grinder (though I am unawre of UK prices).

Coffee machine, grinder and roaster advice

HI all, Iv been looking for a coffee machine for my dad. After seeing some reviews reviews on Gaggia machines I have seen the Gaggia classic for £250 from Amazon. I have around £300 to spend on a machine, grinder and roaster and was wondering if there is a comparable machine a bit cheaper so I could get all 3 within the budget. Any advice or suggestions are welcome as I am completely new to the coffee scene. Thanks in advance
