  • Breville Cafe Roma - Non Pressurised

    Hi,

I have a Breville Cafe Roma while I get my Gaggia repaired - I am fairly new to coffee. I have a non pressurised basket (single thickness) in the filter arm do I need to remove the plastic part in the bottom of the filter arm as well or just leave it there ? Any help greatly appreciated.

You need to leave the plastic part in place unless you only make single shot drinks (which is all that this machine is really capable of).

If you choose to leave it in, you will need to remove it for cleaning as old residue will build up underneath on the actual PF
