The Kyocera is a good grinder.
It will help the machine reach its potential.

Another "getting the best out of" question...

    Hello everyone,

I am a recent CS member, and am already having delusions of grandeur about sipping my perfect short black espresso shot of a morning on the deck looking at the sunrise...

That said, I have no funds for a high-end machine or grinder at present, and dont want to waste money on sub-par bits, as I am a chronic sufferer of upgraditis in every way.

Therefore, I have borrowed my parents seldom used Krups Novo Espresso machine to learn the ropes. It is a few years old. It appears to be a FNC3 model, if that helps.

There are presently no modifications of any description, and obviously I cant go slicing up my parents machine too much.

Therefore, can anyone point me in the direction of how I might best go about getting some after-market modified bits and pieces for this particular machine that might maximise the quality I can get out of it. Otherwise, any tips for the machine itself would be great (ignoring the "throw it in the bin comments").

I am aware that it will have some severe limitations.

I am working on acquiring a grinder, which at present will be the Kyocera hand grinder (so I dont wake up the household).

Thanks in advance for your help - I have tried the search but cant find a lot on this particular machine.

    Best,
    sCORCH
