My advice would be to buy a decent grinder - since its a birthday present and you probably werent expecting to spend $200 on a grinder, then look at a good hand grinder (Hario or Zassenhous if you can find one).
Stale grinds makes bad coffe on the best of machines.
Some sponsors (cant remember which) have hand-grinder combos with aeropresses and so on.
One of my closest friends is having a birthday this month and I know she would like a automatic drip filter machine (american style). Im just wondering what the best one would be to get? Brevelle/Sunbeam are in big w.... should i go for one with the digital settings or without?
