lets call a spade a spade and not a Back hoe
You gave away the plan I was going to wait until there was a really big hole with this machine in the bottom of it then offer an excavator

      good sign for a grinder
I have seen stuff like this get added to tobacco and rolled up   It is not about dust or no dust it is about particle size consistency and the shot above shows a full spread of sizes therefore it is Average to poor.

By all of your posts you obviously have an Aldi thing going on so we will hold all your post in the regard they deserve :

Actually, the photo re: the grind particulate size range means absolutely nothing without a scale for comparison - Or at least the magnification setting on the microscope that was used.... : :P

        Mal.

The aldi auto, is like a high performance state of the art japanese made car that can do 0-100mph in 6 seconds with all the bells and whistles. Yours is more like a old fashioned stately rolls royce. They both do the job well, just your rolls does 0-100mph in a couple of minutes & lacks the features of an aldi auto.
More like a Daewoo (Aldi) compared to a Mercedes Benz (our machines).
            I know what I prefer

Quite right we have not used said device but based on the usage of plenty of machines over in some cases decades (not me) how possibly could this thing stack up. As I mentioned earlier it is certainly not an Aldi bashing exercise as any dealings with them I have had have been good. To my initial post it is just a preemptive warning to the unwary and unknowing purchasers of these of the pitfalls that await.

If I wanted to have an Aldi bash then within my main area of my business I could happilly talk about the 6 Kites that were sold by Aldi a couple of years ago of which only 2 worked well out of the packet and 2 more with some modifications could be made work  OK and the other 2 sold were RAGS with STICKS no matter what I tried. "It doesnt matter it was only $10" was fairly common and the people couldnt be bothered taking them back for a credit. More and more often in retail I see buyers with no clues doing the numbers and basing decisions based purely on turnover/profit/return and have ZERO regard for suitable for the job or best value available.

I hope this espresso maker doesnt come under the category of Rags with Sticks

                          Crema on top, perfect coffee.
                          LOL ;D

Fully Auto machines make a notch above shite coffee. If they made perfect coffee then there would be no barristas employed anywhere.

It might be rubbish too, but you can try it for 60 days. Which other company offers that?
I could go to the local dump and pick and try some rubbish for 60 days doesnt mean I will.

                          You posted coffee grind pic.
The particle sizes are all over the place, indicating poor grinding performance.
The resulting poor grind = poor coffee extraction.

                          Its Not.

More like an Indian made Tata with two flat tyes a flat battery and no suspension..........sitting in a scrap yard waiting to be crushed.

Appart from that its an awesome machine.

Ive since lost my cruel streak, but once when I was little I peed on an ants nest and found it very amusing to watch the offended little insects scurry about in a frenzy of outrage.

I wonder if this nest has just been peed upon

Was it outrage, or was it simply that they objected to being pissed on?

The two Aldi supporters have both gone quiet.

                                I love Aldi.

My last PC was from Aldi and lasted many years (until recently).
                                My treadmill is from Aldi.
I recently bought a new clothes dryer from them.
I shop there about once a month for certain groceries.

Unfortunately they do stock some rubbish.

Because Id been happy with my PC, I bought my wife a laptop from them but it was a dud.
After getting it back from being repaired (unfixed) I took it back for a refund and the Manager refused because he said one of the manuals was missing.
When I informed him that the manual had been sent with the machine when it went for repair and he had no proof that they hadnt lost it and nor returned it to me, he gave in and gave me my refund.

So I dont think you can call me an Aldi basher but artlover and atropine both appear to be Aldi stooges and I really cant stand that kind of ambush marketing.
