3 year old 800es (reservoir slides in from front).
Routinely and recently de-scaled. Probably a non-issue with Gold Coast water anyway.
Symptons vary and appear to be electronic not electric and not physical components like pump (but you tell me).
Sometimes powers on sometimes not.
Sometimes primes the thermoblock sometimes not.
Sometimes heats sometimes not.
Sometimes pumps espresso/hot water/steams sometimes not.
Always steams and/or pumps hot water if it pumps espresso and vice-versa.
When it goes it keeps going until I stop it.
In short, it typically fails somewhere during the process just not always at the same place. And failures can occur in any order. Very occassionally it works correctly and keeps workng until the tank needs refilling.
Are there any "safety cut out" switches Im missing ?
There are not obvious issues inside. No leaks, no obvious cooked circuitry, no broken or diconnected wiring to be seen.
No I havent directly spoken to a Breville service agent.
Similar issues have already been posted by others but solutions few and far between. To those CSers who received a PM from me re your own posted Breville 800 issues, did anyone find a solution?
All and any help/advice accepted.
