  • Taking apart a Breville BES860...

    Hi guys,

Bit of a wierd first post I guess,

Essentially, a nest of ants has taken up residence inside my BES860 while i was out of the country. They seem to be all pretty dead now but I have a suspicion that they are inside the machine as bits and pieces of ants are leaking out. (not ideal)

What i am wondering is if anyone has had a crack at taking apart one of these machines themselves (before i think about getting it serviced). I think what I probably would need to do is completely flush the machine out, but the remaining ants are probably stuck behind the shower screen or who knows where. If anyone has any recommendations, that would be appreciated. I would prefer coffee that has not been filtered through ants.
