  • Great Steam Power?

    Hello snobs,

Are there recommendations for sub $300 machines with great steam power that is known to be reliable? The cheaper the better! Able to pull a decent shot after dialing in would be great.

    Thanks much!

A wee bit optimistic I think. On sale the EM6200 can be had for around that price.

I think you are looking at a second hand machine. Not sure what you mean by great steam power but the Sunbeam 6910 advertised here might be the go

You might find an old 2nd hand semi-commercial unit if you want cheap reliable and good steam production. Might be a challenge for sub-$300 (sub $500 certainly)

Unless of course you actually need great steam power. In fairness to Hildy, you probably don't, but unless you plan on bypassing the steam tstat and controlling it with something else, steam on the Classic is "adequate" for a 300ml jug and needs a little finesse to steam in a 600 effectively.

Plus I'd call a steam-arm swap pretty mandatory.

What do you want in terms of steam power?
