Hi everyone!
Saddly this is my first post - I'm not sure if this is the right forum either but after few hours of research this seems to be my last resort to save my precious.
I have left my coffee on and gone to work (no water going etc - just stand by - first time it has happened!). The next day, my VV seem to be completely dead - It doesn't seem to be heating up nor there is any sound of pump/water going through. The only light that lights up is the power button - two other ones remain off even when pressed.
Coffee machine is almost 2 years old. I'm a bit of a DIYer so I don't mind pulling things apart/replacing them - I just want to make sure there is much point.
My gut feel is that either pump or heating element have gone (although chances of both of the going at the same time seems a little bit slim). Would machine still heat up even with pump being broken or is there a safe switch not to?
Thanks in advance. Let's hope I can get her back on the road soon!
