Gaggia Classic - machine oil smell
Hi Gurus.
My GC started smell of machine oil. This was emanating from the steam wand (original standard wand) , but also a bit of the smell with water passed through the group.
After descaling the smell from group water seems to have stopped.
The steam wand still produces the smell. I steamed milk and it does have a faint taste of the oil smell.
This machine has been a loyal companion, faithfully working for over 10 years - only replacement has been the group seal.
Any thoughts on wheat this might be? I'm happy to dismantle but I don't know where/what I should be looking for.
