Re: Re: What Coffee Equipment do you all have - Pa
And I hope you dont mind me saying so Chris...
wiggo, the price you are likely to end up paying on ebay probably wont be all that different to purchasing from a site sponsor.
Ask anyone here - the service you get from the guys on the left of the screen is awesome!

Welcome to CS wiggo,Originally posted by wiggo link=1183553831/0#1 date=1183554478Would you get a Silvia on ebay..?
I guess that depends on whether you know what youre doing...If you can open a box, set it up and pull back to back godshots, go for it....
If on the other hand if you want service, after sales support and somebody on the end of the phone as you learn, you might be better to buy one here. Might also be handy if your machine requires service. Who knows where your eBay vendor will be next week letalone next year? :-?
We sponsors have great reputations because we provide all of the above- and more....but nobody works for nothing...
Bottom line: You gets what you pays for

Risk buying a new machine on eBay??
My thoughts..... are that Choice has absolutely NFI about coffee machines!Originally posted by wiggo link=1155724732/150#151 date=1183553830Hello,
I am wanting to buy a Expresso machine for my husband but dont really want to spend over $500!! (Sad I know) Any suggestions..? I thought with all the Half Yearly Sales I might be able to pick one up cheap.. I have just been to the "choice" website and they suggested a Magimix LExpresso Automatic 11233 or a Sumbeam Cafe Latte Em5600.. What are your thoughts??
My suggestion: Look for a 2nd hand Silvia...but get a good grinder too
