For a pressurised basket I would think a maximum of 30 seconds from the start of preinfusion would work best.

There really is no 'standard' time - it all comes down to taste.
But a good rule of thumb is 30 seconds from the first drip of coffee hitting the cup. Ideally this would be around the 30g mark of coffee liquid.

Having said that each machine/coffee bean/temperature/pressure is different and can taste better in shorter or longer than 30 sec.

Question about extraction time on pressurized basket

    Hello

May i know the standard extraction time on pressurized basket, for single and double shot?

I start my stopwatch when the pump start for the second time ( after pre-infusion ), and count 25 sec.. is this currect? sometime the coffee become bitter, sometime its become normal taste..

so, i hope you can give me the correct timing for this kind of baskets..

    Thanks
Working...
