*Sorry wrong section i know. I clicked on "Brewing Equipment - Entry level (sub $500)" and somehow ended up in manual brewing equipment. Please move if possible Cheers*
Hi all,
My Delonghi Dedica machine just started acting funny with my shots today.
It would barely drip out some espresso. Leaving me a muddy wet puck.
So I did a full descaling clean, and I also took out and cleaned the diffuser filter with a pin.
I tried it again a few more times and still the same result.
It has been fine since I've had it just over 6months, no issues. I've been using the same grind setting and not filling the basket up all the way.
I read some places with the pressurized baskets you need to try a bit courser. So I set my grinder to more on medium and gave that a go.
tried another 3 shots and still the same result.
Does anyone know if there's a simple fix with this particular machine?
I know it's not the greatest home machine, but it's been working fine up until today.
The steam wand still works fine, and when I run it (without coffee) water will come through the pressurized basket.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
