I guess at that resolution it could quite easily be mistaken for silky oak but unfortunately its not, i didnt have any silky oak at my disposal at the time so I used some recycled hardwood floor boards mostly jarrah and brushbox and the timber edging around the top and shelf as well as the posts and rails are merbau and a coat of decking oil with light oak tint in it over the whole thing to bring it all together, looks even better when its all polished up, anyway thanks for the compliment.

Hi guys, I am so impressed with this thing, it hasnt missed a single beat and has made plenty of wonderful coffees in the last year that I thought Id revisit the old post and show it now in comparison to then... Lots of love... Ray 8-)
