sorry but wrong question (Any other recommendation on other brands?)
The question is, what other suppliers or service providers are in your area, do they have a good name, and what brands do they supply.
As has already been said, its not about the brand its about the service you will get in your area for the brands that are available there.
Dont confuse advice that people give in a retail end user forum on their pet brands and models, with whats important in a business activity, which is a different kettle a fish (or different pot o coffee ;D. )
The important thing is the backup service you will get, no point buying something with a "better name" if the parts are four days away (for example). IMHO I would search out the true espresso techs in your area (start with site sponsors) and go with their range as they will be able to get the machine humming not just dump it on your bench and leave, only to return when the grinder "needs servicing".
The franchise reccmmeneded Rugguro 2 grp, but I would spend a couple of grand more to get 3 grp on the safe side. Yea, I do understand that Megacrem and Ruggero has the same machine, juz with different skin.
On the other hand, since my budget is below 10k, was wondering what other options I have? La Cimbali M29 Selectron, is just under 11k..
You should be able to buy almost any good name conventional 3 group machine for under 10g so why restrict yourself to 2 brand names only.
Suggest you look at the back up / after sales service you will receive from your retailer because that might be the more important thing to think about in the long run. No point buying a brand X machine if there is no service provider in your area.
Have a megacrem which to my understanding is essentially the same machine in a cheaper skin. I am very happy with the quality of the coffee, I am still learning in my coffee journey and have not played with a large number of machines. What I can say is that it is robust, consistent and I have built a successful business around it. Just make sure you dont forget the grinder you might need a couple to keep up with a three group.
Silly question, what sort of a franchise doesnt specify the gear you should be using?
