    Re: Linea PID

I know that FB 80s generally have about a 2C difference but the only way you are going to be able to find out for sure is to get your hands on a Scace device (or equivalent) and get the readings for your self.

    Hi Guys,

I was wondering if any of you knew what the difference was between the temperature set on pid and the temp at the group head? Ive heard its as much as 4-5c, but wanted some clarification

    Hope youre all well
    Depends on 1001 different issues..

Quality of the PID... Sensors.. The style of teh machine... How the head retains / loosed temp.. Lots of cool air flowing etc..

And how and where you measuring teh temp and with what sort of temp gauges..

    Does it matter ... Na..

Tweak teh pid and dead band etc until the head gives you the shot you want.. There will always be a difference...

PS: Using the values as a guide or reference is foolish unless ya setting up a CLONED system in all aspects..
