  • Overpressure problems?

Hello, I was doing some maintenance on my Cimbali M27 Start with 2 groups. I would like some help to solve this little problem:
At the same time I make coffee with the first group, the discharge pipe also throw water to the drain line! What is strange is that with the second group, while making coffee doesnt come any water out the discharge pipe! Do I have to adjust something on that particular group or is it a different problem? Some help would be appreciated!

    Re: Overpressure problems?

Try doing a thorough backflushing/cleaning and see if that clears up the problem. If not then youll have to take the 3-way valves apart and give them a good manual scrubbing. If that still doesnt fix the problem then youll be looking at some parts replacement.

The solenoid valve is supposed to do that, to release the pressure, once you switch the group off when finished pulling a shot.

If its leaking during the shot, perhaps the solenoid valve (faulty or scaled up). Last time I checked, coffeeparts have them for about $60.

        Thank you Javaphile and Borat123!
I solved the problem. The solenoid was ok but the sealer of the valve was weared out!
I bought one for 23 €(about 30US$) and now is working fine! See attachment.
