I am cleaning up a old SM Lisa Jnr and its the plumb in vibe pump model.
seems to run ok, might be the standard SM bit hot but i have yet to play with the pstat i am just at the "does it work" stages
issue:
I was hoping to run this from a tank but the pump does not seem to want to make good pressure...
gives me 9 bar at group head when on the mains but not when using a tank on top of the machine (gravity assist).
questions:
1. should the vibe on this one be fine hitting the 9 bar from a tank?
2. the screw thing in the picture in the red circle is the brew pump pressure (return) adjuster right ?
when i turn it and the machine is plumbed in it effects the Ghead pressure. When i use a TANK it does not seem to effect pressure (screwed right in or out etc). I cant seem to get any real pressure form a tank.
what do you all reckon? pump getting old? not tank / bucket suitable?
ignore the green scale, looks like it a had a leaky little anitvac valve for a LONG..... time....
as always you help is appreciated
