Have you seen how big four group machines are?
Do you have that much bench space? Do you have a 20 amp outlet to plug it into (thats if its not 3 phase power)?

what setting do you plan on using the machine in? a 4group machine has limited settings where its really necessary, and if youre new to coffee im guessing yours probably isnt one of them. If its really in top condition (which you have no real way of telling unless you pull the machine apart) then its probably worth in the low 2s at max. However, i imagine it would probably be bloody hard to get rid of a 4group machine 2nd hand so i wouldnt be offering anything much more than in the low 1k region.
Consider a single or two group machine instead (depending on the application) is my advice and probably the advice from almost everyone on here.

Hi, Im pretty new to all of this, have just started to leearn about machines and have been presented an opportunity to buy an expobar elegance 4 group for what seems to be a good price. Im not sure how old it is but its not new, any thoughts on what i might be worth if in good condish?Tags: None
