    An E-61 can continue to show pressure in the group after an extraction even if it is not plumbed. Nothing to be concerned over. If you lift the lever just past the point of first resistance you will see the gauge drop as the brew valve opens.

    Oh.

    If youve had it a while, it might need to be descaled. The tubes to the gauges are quite narrow in diameter and can easily become clogged with scale.

    Hi there

    Just wondering should the brew head gauge go back to zero after extraction of the coffee or should it stay around three bar like mine does. That is when the machine is on and idle it stays on three bar.
