Does anybody like me run their machine off a Brita Purity C filter and if so are they recording the litres used with a digital flow meter? I have looked into buying one and the cost is double that of one made by Claris. What Im thinking is buying the Claris one and connecting to the Brita. They both have the same 3/8 threads and both record flow in litres. Does anyone else use a similar system because Id like to be assured that the Claris one is conpatable with Brita. Im reluctant to pay £75 for the Brita meter when the Claris one is £34

Re: Brita Purity C filter
I use a Purity C Filter, but its the model without the digital readout. Imho that is unnecessary for non-commercial applications. My Dealer just said to replace the filter after 1yr, so I put a reminder on my mobile phone. Done. It would be interesting to know the water the water usage over time, though id rather concentrate on the coffee
Cheers,
David.
