Re: La Marzocco FB80 colour choice?

The last couple of suggestions sound pretty striking - Off White, Pearl Orange.

However if you wanted to put the extra money into it a metallic paint would look stunning - off course upkeep is higher and it costs a heck of alot if the paint is chipped but a metallic Black would look amazing.

Or even and Opal White.... I think they used to do some Lexus in that... plus others I guess. It was like a white, but when light reflected off it it was ....well opal-ly. Deadly.

Monash Universitys "The Kitchen" has a white FB70 and a white FB80 side by side, just behind the main Coffee HQ

The whole paint that changes color on view angle is also known as Harliquin. I reckin its the flash way to go, maybe a blue with red sheen? The holden green is also something very out standing, theyd never miss it! 8-)

But its about $1000 per litre and it cant be touched up easily so youll need to respray the lot if it gets chipped/scratched....I used to have a car with it

Okay...  I *once* saw one in Auckland, that had been painted a deep metallic cherry red...   Im assuming it was a fine grain metallic silver base coat, with a see-through cherry red coat (or two), followed by several Clear coats ....   it looked sexier than hell...
