Well, at least an avocado can be eaten. This on the other hand...
... can be used to make awesome coffee?!

Ill take the coffee over the avocado any day of the week!

so a couple of weeks in...hows it been e-gene?
Its been excellent. Weve been getting a lot of good reviews from our customers and already we are doing about 40+kgs of coffee a week. The first offical week, we were giving out postcard flyers with a free coffee on it and we were slammed big time. I havent had the K10 doser set up and I had to manually dose over 500 coffees that day, but it was awesome!

Both the K10 and FB80 have been handling beautifully. The K10 holds its settings very well and only slight adjustments have to be made over the course of the day. And the FB80, what can I say...its got to be the best machine to work on. Such a refine machine, kinda like a nice car.

Anyway, my rosettas are getting better each day and Im working on double rosettas and trying the tulips as well.

Come by and say hi when any of you guys here get the chance, Ive been getting a few Coffeesnobbers saying hi already.

Thanks for the compliments. We are planning to put lights where the group heads are, just got to find the right one. Was thinking about using a white neon tube, Craig from Venez has already agreed to give us a hand with it. Maybe we should put neon lights below it as well while we are at it?

Thats not a drift bear, its the Maccas Happy Meal toy. Its a tribute to the number of Maccas meals we had while building the shop.
Well hopefully none of those meals included coffee ;D

Ill have more photos of the place now that its open. But heres a pic of the machine when it was first brought in. I also had the priviledge of having the 2 time Australian Barista Champ and World No. 2 carry my machine into the shop.
Good to see Makin getting his hands dirty. lol

I really like the look of your cafe in the pic man, all the colours and decor that i can see look like thay have been chosen to compliment the machine, or make it stand out- amke it the focal point, I really like the colour, if you were to put wheels on it I reckon Jeremy clarckson from top gear would try and drive it thinking it WAS a lambo. Good to see you stuck to your guns with the colour, there were alot of great suggestions out there.

so do you have the halogens across behind where the group heads lock in? I saw it on an FB80 on display in brisbane, looks HOT!!! But it was boring dark metalic blue, unlike this beast!!!

And is hat a drifting bear hanging from the corner of the machine?? It really IS a race car, hehehehe

    Kane.
