This is the same pic I almost posted but decided against because he is an exponent of Kung Fu not Karate.

Ive said before that CS and karateka have similar personalities.
Making espresso is about perfecting a series of steps to reach an end goal; karate is the same.

Ahh...but spread too far (on the usually wet floor) and your feet slide out from under you. Talk about being in the shit

Our paddle GS/3 is close now. Were expecting it in the next few days 8-)

But youll be leaving for the aroma fest!

How bout you leave it at my place, ill give it some tender loving care and 10 kilos of coffee...

Im seriously blown away by the programmability of this machine. Slightly higher temperatures and the cocoa, earthiness and body is amplified. Lower temperature for more fruit, acid and high notes.

Itll be good to see how pressure profiling affects the taste....

Do take note of the offset temperature. If your coffee boiler is set to say 95degrees and your offset is -2 then your brew temperature will be approximately 93. Only way to find out is with a scace and your machine should be factory calibrated when you got it.

Changing the temperature doesnt exactly ALTER the characteristics of the bean. It wont give you a floral and bright brew at 93 degrees and a full bodied earthy cocoa brew at 95 all from a Yirg.

It just enables you to highlight or amplify the characteristics of the SO/blend you are brewing.

How does the footprint compare to other domestics? Im surprised at how big the K10 looks next to it. From that pic it looks a much more reasonable size then a Synesso for home use.
