How does the footprint compare to other domestics? Im surprised at how big the K10 looks next to it. From that pic it looks a much more reasonable size then a Synesso for home use.

My Galatea can fit 3 cups across and the GS3 has 4
So from the pictures its probably only 10 cm wider

Nice pics Chris. The low lines of the GS3 make that paddle look even more imposing!

Are you going to drill more holes in the counter to tidy up those leads? ;D

            Re: New toy (GS/3)

A paddled gs/3 needs to be plumbed to be able to make full use of the manual pre-infusion anyway so although id prefer a paddle i wouldnt be able to use it.

Ill just buy a slayer when I win the powerball and move into my new home...

Have you been mucking around much with pre-infusion chris?

I have played a little Gavin...

I like that you can use mains to ramp it as long as you like- and in fact pour a whole shot without the pump if you like. I have found that an early backoff seems to work well...

              Come for a play someday

              Chris

Sounds awesome. Would love to be able to do that on my GS/3. Ill just make a paddle out of cardboard and pretend

I might just take you up on that offer!

Hows it going now that youve had them for about 6 months? Ive been doing some research, and on an American website I read that there was some problems with a "blocked gicleur".

Still happy and think it was worth it? Any problems?
