I like them from the side and thats about it for me...
In fairness, those 3 photos dont really do the machine justice.

They also have one at Morgans roasters in Emu Plains - also a importer / distributor. BTW, they now use a 3 group Mirage lever as their main unit.

Maybe your friend will get #100 if it hasnt already been sold. Mine is #46 built Sept. 09.

I was wondering how many Speedsters had been sold in Aus., looks like they are much rarer over there. Kees emailed to say that they were building mumbers 98 & 99 in late Sept. so there should be over a 100 series 2 Speedsters by now.

Home use - my Robur-E needed a friend and now my Giotto is sulking with her Mini-E...... looking at each other across the kitchen bench

Yes, been on the bench for just over a week, plumbed in for last 3 days. Build quality and finish simply stunning. In the cup exceeding expectations, looking forward to the single origins roasted couple of days ago and resting.
HI Cranks was it for personal use or in a shop ? I like the look and would be interested to hear more.

I forgot to add the Speedster would be pretty close to the top of the list of machines I would dearly love to have. I hope you manage to lay your hands on this one.

Thats good. I was down in Ballina with the family about a month ago and happened past Evolution. It was getting late, the staff were busy taking dinner orders and the kids were tired so we didnt stay for a coffee. A shame but maybe next time were down there.

The Mirage certainly looks the business.
