Highway robbery! They'd have to be joking. Gotta hand it to fivesenselessOriginally posted by chokkidogCounting the minutes for the link to deleted......... ;-)
Site rules are for a reason.
I'll check to see how many genuine Izzo sets we have (3 tip choices for $45- not almost $29 bucks each) and then add stock to our website.
Hold off guys. I reckon I can get the other variant mentioned in 2/4 hole for more like $10-15 ea...

Good on you Chris. Two holes with smaller diameter (say 0.9 mm) I think would be about perfect for my version of the duetto. I'd even think about ordering one as well, even though the postage will probably make it bit pricy again (nothing to do with you Chris, just the way it is. Maybe I need a holiday in Melbourne!!! Or perhaps I need to order a few other bits an pieces while I'm at it ... options, options).
From my expereince, the difference between the stock two hole and the 4 hole 0.9 mm is marginal, but I didn't pull the teflon tube out when I tried it.
On a different topic (but still on thread topic) I just got back from a week off with my family. I actually took the duetto with us!! It really is a nice machine. Still happy after two years.

Hi Chester,
If it's for a while, I'd do a full service- pull down group and lube. Lube taps and wands. Drain the steam boiler (switch off when hot and then open the hot water tap). To drain the brew boiler is fiddly and I'd advise against it. I wouldn't do a descale unless the machine was going to be used for a while before going into hibernation.
