KLUB T2 2 grp machine..
The eagle landed at 9:30am today and as of 12:15 Stripped and Boiler removed.
Some interesting findings.
1: Upper SS guard still had the protective plastic on it. yucky crap and oils like ooooo
2: SSR and Fan was interesting... Yet to work out.. Inputs and outputs of SSR shorted with a link ?? :
3: Element not so tight... Good nick.. But funny Grean jelly all over it :-?
4: The neck is sleeved and welded internally with spot welds on the outside.. Not sure if A leak or not sealing on one of the element screws.
Off to get it tigéd any way.
5: couple of cracked fittings and lots of calcium / scale in the heads...
6: I then proceeded to snap an brass elbow with my finger 8-)
7: Yet to have a close look at the key pad... That will be tonight.
So.... Outcome...
Its a project and the CSer at the other end was ever so assisting and supportive I can only say THANK you.... Will pay it forward along the way...
May Be Wsully has already had it or even AlexTom and his Feama that is still not working :P ( No room in the shed Alex; you will have to leave it out side
Will I be able to get it all going... YES. Will I actually persist... Unknown.
There are any number of bits needed and many hrs of work... If it was a true Leaver machine..... Then as just for a talking piece... Worth teh effort.
In this case; yet to be seen. If I loose faith; then there will be a FS post at some stage in the future.
Yes... Pics to follow when I get my bandwidth back.
PPS. The courier was great at this end and was very helpful and even offered to not only unload to the property; but offered to un pack and help me get it on the bench.
I gracefully declined... He had done enough and detoured from teh del address as it was; as I was at home.
