    Sorry, My apologies.

    I am new to forums, and not sure on what to do.

    I am trying to get good info on commercial machines, as you would be aware of sales pitches, it's hard to sift through

    Ive read about some machines that use less power to have them kept at temperature overnight rather than bringing up their big boilers to temperature in the morning.
    That ignores the laws of physics, energy will be consumed keeping the water in a high energy state. I think what you read was carefully worded marketing to make you think that it is saving power.

    Thats a simplistic view though...

    Ive read about some machines that use less power to have them kept at temperature overnight rather than bringing up their big boilers to temperature in the morning.

    If you turn off any machine at night you dont save only 47% but you save 100% of electricity.

    If you leave it on all night you save 47.6% electricity ;D

    not if you turn off your current machine over night you dont
