Some people on here need to get a life; I am amazed at how so many instant experts come out of the woodwork when they sniff a bit of blood.
No some of us with an electrical/engineering background take yours and our own safety very seriously when it comes to electrical matters.
: my safety is in good hands. Thanks very much.

      Good result Chris...
      Thanks Tim,

      It sits comfortably with me.

As for your other questions, lets talk.

I requested many weeks ago via PM that you make contact off forum for a chin wag. I think it would be a good opportunity to clear the air and would appreciate a chat to discuss any other issues you would like to raise.

      Cheers

      Chris

Given the obvious expertise in the area from some of the contributions above as well as the amount of effort put into crafting their input, Id suspect some would find a throw-away line like that a bit offensive.

However Ill join you and third the comment commending the excellent service provided by Chris.  Ill admit, as one of the early adopters, to some feelings of unease since this aris.

Have just heard from Chris at Talk Coffee

He expects to be in receipt of replacement PIDs or flashing equipment in a few weeks to upgrade the PID in the machine which should alleviate any concerns. He also offered a complimentary service to compensate for any inconvenience.

In my opinion, a further demonstration of the excellent service provided by Chris.
Thats an excellent result.  Safer equipment and quick action to fix a problem (even on a Sunday!).

          Nice to see!
          8-)

Re: Alex Duetto II - 10A or 15A??

            Thank you Andy,

The entire coffee experience of our clients is paramount and always has been.

Well work through this process and Ill post here again once were done. Every single owner of a Duetto has been contacted so its just a matter of running the upgrade on every unlocked 10A unit and then we can lock this one down and have a celebratory beer

There are quite a few grey imports in Australia. If anyone here has one, please be mindful of this thread.

            Cheers

            Chris
